Character's Full Name: Bailey Branning
Nicknames: Bailey
Age: Eighteen
Grade: Senior
Appearance:
Bailey's features are somewhat delicate. He has very pale skin, free from freckles or marks. He does tan, but on the arms and legs, instead of his face. He has gently pink lips, and olvie-green-brown eyes that are framed by dark lashes. His face is slightly oval shaped, and his features well defined.
He stands at 5"10, a suitable height for him that lets him without looking lanky. His arms are slightly muscular from a number of activities, but mostly from visiting the gym. His arms are slightly tanned from the short sleeved shirts he wears during the Summer months.
His hair is blonde in a short cropped style. He never gels it up or anything, just leaves it simple. It has a few hints of brown in, but is mostly blonde.
Personality:
Bailey can occasionally act like a jerk or show off around some one, but that’s only if he wants to make himself seen and that only really happens when there’s someone he wants to impress. And times when he wants to impress don’t come too often, seeing as he’s pretty laid back and casual.
It’s not often he cares about what people think about him. If they gave a problem, then he doesn’t really care, he’ll just carry on with his day. His days aren’t often ruined either. He usually tries to have a good time no matter what.
He’s not exactly confident, but he’ll stick up for himself and others if he feels it’s necessary. He has a short temper that he usually keeps hidden, and he’s not one to show his true emotions.
Family:
Alicia Branning//Forty-One//Mother
Emma//Twelve//Sister
History:
Even now, twelve years on, Bailey has recollections of his father. He tries not to think about him, but it’s hard when his sister pipes up ‘What was Daddy like?’. Sure, she was probably ready to hear the truth about her father now, nine years after it had happened, but every year Bailey and his Mum had to kid themselves that one more year would do no harm.
A monstrosity, that was what his Grandma had said of his father the day he had walked out. Of course he’d left late in the night, but Bailey had still heard the row going on between his parents, before the door slamming shut and a motorbike zooming off down the street. At first he couldn’t understand why his Dad had left, they had got on so brilliantly, but maybe they had only in his eyes.
His father had been an alcoholic, he knew that much. It was hard to get anything out of his Mum. And he knew he was spending his wife’s earnings on alcohol which she didn’t drink. At the age of fourteen, his mother had also confirmed that he had cheated on her.
Now the family is like any other. After Bailey’s dad left, the house was in pretty bad dept because of what he had been spending Alicia’s hard earned money on. But soon they managed to pay it back, and lived in a penthouse apartment in the city.
Ability:
Power Sensing
Bailey found himself feeling different soon after his father left. After a period of a few months, he managed to work out something about the power he was given, and how it told him the powers others around him had.
Sometimes he’d just walk down the high street and senses of other people’s powers would just become clear to him. He often enjoyed this, and felt that he was given the power for some reason to help someone.
